Every year, at about this time, I always decide that I should invest in some winter clothing… jumpers and the like. The mother of all winter warmers has to the the jacket, or coat if you so prefer. So, every year I think I should spend a bit of cash on a decent jacket – one that will see me through the whole winter. But, just as the winter sets in so does my indecisiveness… as I ponder whether to buy a cheap jacket or an expensive one the weeks and months pass – and before you know it we’re in to Feb. Having deliberated all winter I usually buy a new jacket just as the weather starts to get slightly better – making it a complete waste of time and money.

This year it’s going to be different, without a doubt. The indecisiveness is getting the old heave ho and one motherfisher of a winter jacket is getting purchased before mid November. This year I’m going to be prepared – no more walking along the frosty streets with only a T-shirt for protection.
